Basically, what we have here is a stranded-animal movie in which the stranded animals are forced to split screen time with a mopey human character and his annoying, redundant friends.. It's too cliched, it's too rote, and honestly I think you have to care a little bit more about the individual dogs to believe that these people would care so much..
