Disney's excessively hyped A Christmas Carol revels so richly in bringing the Dickensian details to sumptuous life that you wind up forgiving it for possessing a stop-motion soul.. It all adds up to an eventful entry in the Muppet film library but not a classic one.. You don't go to a Muppet movie looking for anything other than a few laughs with beloved puppet pals. Mission accomplished - ka-ching! - on that front.. Kids will enjoy it, and there are more than enough clever gags to keep parents ...
